Questions

Straight answers.

These are the actual questions people ask before booking. If yours is not here, send us a message — you will get a person, not a queue.

Before you book

Do you actually come to me, or do I drop the car off?

We come to you. Everything arrives in the van — equipment, chemicals, towels, water hose, machines. You do not drive anywhere and you do not sit in a waiting room. The vehicle stays exactly where it is.

What do you need from me at the location?

Two things: an outdoor water spigot we can reach with a hose, and an outdoor electrical outlet. Both are standard at almost every house. We also need enough room to open all the doors and walk a full circle around the vehicle.

If either one is a problem where you are, message us before booking and we will work out whether the location will work.

Can you come to my apartment complex or my office?

Yes, as long as there is a spigot and an outlet you are actually permitted to use, and the lot allows it. Plenty of our customers get their car done while they are at work — it is one of the best uses of the service, because you get four hours of your weekend back.

Check with your property manager or building first. Most say yes; some want notice.

How far do you travel?

Stillwater and the immediate area at no extra charge. Perkins, Glencoe, Ripley and Yale carry a small travel charge. Perry, Cushing, Guthrie and Pawnee carry a slightly larger one. Everything is shown before you confirm.

If you are just past the line, message us. We will usually still come out.

Why does the price change so much between vehicles?

Because the work does. A large SUV has significantly more surface area, more glass, more carpet and more seats than a compact car — it genuinely takes longer. And a vehicle that has never been detailed takes far more time than one done three months ago.

We would rather price honestly by the actual work than quote everyone the same number and cut corners on the hard ones.

The honest questions

My car is really bad. Is that a problem?

Not at all, and you will not be judged for it. The only thing that matters is that you pick the right condition when you book. If it is rough, say it is rough — it does not cost you anything to be accurate, and it means we block enough time to actually finish.

The one thing that does cause problems is understating it, because then we run out of time and the job gets rushed.

I picked "rough" and now the price jumped. Is that final?

It is an estimate, and for rough vehicles we confirm the real number with you by message before we start any work. You will never be surprised with a bill you did not agree to.

Will you get every stain out?

Honestly, no — not every one. Some stains have permanently dyed the fibers, some burns have melted them, and no amount of extraction brings those back. What we will do is get everything out that can come out, and tell you plainly which marks are permanent rather than pretending we can fix them.

Can you get rid of the smell?

Usually. Most smells live in the carpet and headliner, and a proper extraction removes the source. For smoke, pet odor or something that sat too long, the ozone treatment add-on kills what is left at a molecular level instead of masking it with a scent.

Will detailing remove scratches?

Depends on the depth. Run a fingernail across it — if your nail does not catch, a machine polish will most likely remove it. If your nail catches, the scratch is through the clear coat and needs paint work, not detailing. We will tell you which one you have.

The appointment

Do I need to be home?

No. Leave the keys somewhere we can find them, tell us where in the booking notes, and go about your day. Many customers are at work the entire time.

How long does it take?

Two hours for an exterior refresh on a small car, up to most of a day for a full correction on a large SUV. Your exact estimate is shown when you book, and it accounts for both your vehicle size and its condition.

What if it rains?

We watch the forecast and reach out to you before the appointment. You never have to chase us. If we move it, you get first choice of the next open slots, and there is no charge or penalty of any kind.

Do I need to take my stuff out of the car?

Please do, yes. We will not move or handle valuables, paperwork, or anything personal — that protects both of us. Car seats can stay if you want the area underneath done, just let us know.

Can I reschedule?

Yes, yourself, any time. Every confirmation email has a link that lets you move the appointment without calling or texting anyone. Pick any open slot on the calendar and it is done.

How do I reach you?

Tap Message us on any page. It goes straight to the owner, and you get an email when he replies — no phone tag. You can send photos too.

Money

When do I pay?

After the work is finished and you have looked at it. Nothing is charged when you book.

The one exception: big, all-day jobs ask for a small deposit to hold the day, because they block out everyone else. It comes straight off your total.

How do I pay?

Cash App or Chime, right from your phone — your booking page has a button that opens Cash App with the amount already filled in. You get an emailed receipt once it is confirmed.

What if I am not happy?

Tell us before we pack up. We would far rather spend another twenty minutes fixing something than have you pay for work you are not happy with. That is a much better outcome for a local business than a bad review.

Do you offer a maintenance schedule?

Yes, and it is genuinely cheaper. A vehicle detailed every three or four months never needs the full reset, because we are staying ahead of it rather than catching up. Ask about it when we are there.

Do you do gift certificates?

Yes. Send us a message and we will sort it out — it is a good gift for someone who would never spend the money on themselves.

Still wondering something?

Ask. No pressure, no script.
